This is a stand‑alone accounting and finance role with full ownership of the company’s financial operations. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating independently, building structure where needed, and acting as a strategic thought partner to leadership while also handling hands‑on accounting responsibilities.

• Own and manage all company finance and accounting activities
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements
• Lead semi‑annual budgeting and forecasting processes
• Perform monthly variance analysis and provide insights to leadership
• Create and maintain financial KPI dashboards to track business performance
• Prepare and present financial reports, including profit and loss statements
• Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll as needed
• Oversee third‑party payroll processing and ensure compliance
• Maintain and oversee general ledger functions
• Utilize ERP and Excel to manage financial data and reporting
• Identify process improvements and proactively address potential financial risks

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5–10+ years of finance and accounting experience
• At least 2 years of experience overseeing general ledger functions
• Experience in the AEC or time‑and‑materials industry strongly preferred
