Location: This is a hybrid role
, requiring 1–2 days onsite weekly at the organization’s headquarters in Portland, OR.

You’ll run the day‑to‑day accounting function, guide a small and capable team, and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting. Over ~18–24 months, the role intentionally expands into financial planning, analysis, and strategic partnership—making it an exceptional opportunity for someone who wants to broaden their scope and impact.

• Manage and develop a four‑person accounting team
• Foster cross‑department collaboration and financial clarity

Core Accounting Ownership

• Full month‑end close ownership with timely financial reporting
• Cash flow forecasting and working capital management
• Oversee A/R, A/P, payroll cycles, and treasury processes
• Lead annual audit activities in partnership with external auditors
• Manage annual insurance renewals
• Coordinate tax filings with outside partners
• Budgeting and variance analysis with department leaders
• Support operational and strategic decision‑making with financial insights
• Build scalable reporting tools leveraging spreadsheets and ERP data

• ~10+ years progressive experience in accounting/finance
• 3+ years as a Controller or similar leadership position
• Inventory/manufacturing accounting experience
• Experience with in an organization in the ~$15M–$100M revenue range
• Strong GAAP knowledge and audit support experience
• Demonstrated success leading accounting teams
• Hands-on ownership of month-end close, cash management, and reporting
• ERP system experience beyond basic small‑business platforms
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills
