Job DescriptionWe are hiring an experienced Associate Advisor to serve as the primary relationship manager for client households. This role is designed for an advisor who is confident managing client relationships independently and who values being the consistent, trusted point of contact for clients across every phase of their financial life.
While the title is Associate Advisor, this is not an entry level role. This position is best suited for someone who enjoys ownership, accountability, and day‑to‑day client interaction, and who wants to build lasting relationships within a collaborative, team‑based advisory model.
Responsibilities- Serve as the primary relationship manager and first point of contact for assigned client households
- Build and maintain deep, trusted relationships with clients through proactive communication and responsiveness
- Lead client onboarding and set clear expectations around service and communication
- Manage the full scope of financial planning including cash flow, investments, retirement, tax, and estate planning
- Prepare and lead client meetings, with support from senior advisors and strategists on complex topics as needed
- Translate planning strategies into clear, actionable next steps for clients
- Handle client scheduling, meeting preparation, and follow up
- Oversee account paperwork, transfers, contributions, distributions, and service requests
- Track open items and ensure timely execution and clear client communication
- Maintain accurate client records in Wealthbox, eMoney, and other firm systems
- Partner closely with the Investment Manager and Tax and Accounting Strategist to coordinate client strategies
- Collaborate with advisory leadership on advanced planning scenarios
- Identify planning opportunities and proactively bring ideas forward
- Contribute to refining workflows, improving the client experience, and strengthening firm processes
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field. - Experience:
Minimum 3+ years of financial advisory experience with a proven track record of client acquisition and retention. - Licenses:
Active Series 7 and 66 (or 63/65) licenses required. Life & Health Insurance License preferred or must obtain after employment. - Certification: CFP® designation is highly preferred or in progress.

Skills:
Familiarity with financial planning software (eMoney, Wealthbox, or similar CRM tools) and strong ability to adapt to new technology. - Ability to work autonomously while leveraging firm resources and mentorship
- High level of professionalism, confidence, and discretion
- Excellent communication skills and comfort working with sophisticated clients
- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable owning multiple client relationships
This is a full‑time, in‑office role. Compensation includes a base salary with additional bonus opportunities tied to performance, individual contribution, and overall firm success.
