The PositionOur bank client is seeking a Sr. Credit Analyst in Portland, OR. The successful candidate will analyze the financial information of individuals or companies to determine creditworthiness and monitor borrowers to assess default risk.
The role offers a salary up to $110K and an excellent benefits package.(This is not a remote position).
Sr. Credit AnalystResponsibilities include:
- Evaluating clients’ credit data and financial statements to assess lending risk.
- Analyzing complex CRE/C&I commercial financial statements for deals up to $15 Million.
- Producing financial ratios using software tools to evaluate clients’ financial status.
- Preparing reports summarizing loan applicants' strengths and weaknesses and providing recommendations to the approving officer or Senior Loan Committee.
- Conducting annual covenant reviews and renewals for CRE and C&I facilities.
- Recommending loan structures when appropriate.
- Performing other duties as assigned.

You also bring the following skills and experience:
- Four-year degree in business, economics, finance, or accounting, or completion of a specialized course at a business college.
- Three or more years of CRE/C&I Credit Analysis experience with deals up to at least $10 million in exposure.
- Experience with Sageworks, Cash Suite, Bukers, Excel, Moodys, etc.
- Ability to write complex credit analyses and presentations, and defend them before the Loan Committee.
- Familiarity with complex commercial lending policies.
- Understanding of processes, policies, regulations, and rules.
- Proven commercial credit acumen and analytical skills for CRE/C&I credits.
