Our Portland based client is looking for a non-profit leader! The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual who has experience as a nonprofit Controller. This role manages and mentors a team. You will be responsible for the US GAAP financial statements, maintaining/creating accounting procedures, and internal controls.
Responsibilities- Oversees the month-end close and production of financial statements
- Act as the point of contact for external auditors
- Manage and mentor a team of accountants
- Review AP and payroll and perform bank reconciliations
- Set up/document processes and procedures and create efficiencies
- Perform cash management and manage grants
- Be a problem solver and skilled in systems integration
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related experience
- Nonprofit and grants experience
- GAAP knowledge
- Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
Pay up to $120k.
