Position: Garage / Valet Parking Attendant -  Pacific Center Downtown Portland

Position Overview

Position: Garage/Valet Parking Attendant
Location: Pacific Center Downtown Portland
Shifts: Monday to Friday 11am-7pm
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour plus tips

Key Responsibilities
  • Mobilize and coordinate the full valet process by retrieving keys, loading vehicles, and issuing tickets.
  • Provide outstanding customer service, building rapport and addressing inquiries.
  • Act as a courteous company brand ambassador: open doors, unload vehicles, and ensure prompt service.
  • Implement vehicle safety and security procedures, direct traffic, and report incidents.
  • Manage financial operations: request fees, reconcile shift revenue, and report discrepancies.
  • Park guest vehicles in appropriate spaces and inspect for damage, recording information accurately.
  • Assist guests with luggage or personal items when necessary and direct traffic for safety.
  • Maintain professional communication with guests and teammates at all times.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
  • Minimum age 18 years.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR.
  • Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong verbal communication and quick decision making.
  • Ability to move from valet stand to passenger cars for extended periods.
  • Preferred: prior valet experience.
