Key Responsibilities Lead technical development of suppliers to enhance technology readiness of materials for the Natrium reactor core Develop material and process specifications for specialized materials and product forms Coordinate technical reviews of supplier deliverables and assist with supplier audits per ASME NQA-1-2015
Required Qualifications and Education Minimum of 6 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 3 years with a Master's degree in Materials Science/Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline Strong understanding of metallurgy, including fabrication and thermomechanical processing of ferrous and nonferrous alloys Experience in developing requirements specifications and providing technical oversight of supplier projects Knowledge of nuclear reactor design impacts on materials is a plus Ability to work independently to solve challenging technical problems
