About the RolePDS Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced Construction Administrator to support major construction and facilities projects with a leader in the aerospace industry. This role plays a critical part in evaluating proposals, guiding project planning, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring all construction activities meet cost, schedule, and regulatory requirements. Your work will help deliver safe, compliant, and high‑quality facility modifications that support essential aerospace operations.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Evaluate contractor proposals for fairness, cost accuracy, and compliance.
- Support contractor selection, contract awards, and negotiation of contract changes.
- Conduct constructability reviews and participate in project cost/schedule visibility reviews.
- Develop complete work packages, including budgets, schedules, drawings, specifications, and statements of work.
- Coordinate with customers, designers, SHEA, security, network infrastructure teams, and other stakeholders to finalize implementation plans.
- Assemble and release work packages with all required documentation, vendor quotes, permits, and schedules.
- Meet with customers to define requirements for major construction and facilities projects.
- Provide conceptual layouts and designs that comply with city, county, state, and federal regulations.
- Develop conceptual, budgetary, and detailed cost estimates to support business case analysis.
- Guide less experienced team members throughout project planning and execution.
- Monitor major project activities—including relocations, construction, utility shutdowns, and vendor coordination—to ensure quality, timeline, and cost targets are met.
- Validate and close project documentation for records retention, internal audit, property accounting, and regulatory needs.
- Receive, validate, track, and log customer project requests in the work management system.
- Minimum 5+ years of construction management experience.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD.
- Experience with Bluebeam.
- Bachelor’s degree + 6 years related experience.
- Master’s degree + 4 years related experience.
- 10+ years of significant construction/facilities experience.
- This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies:
1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or
2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
- Experience supporting large‑scale or complex construction projects.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance for facility modifications.

Pay Details$41.13 per hour
