This hybrid position is a full‑time direct hire role. If you think this position aligns well with your professional experience, we would like to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities for Senior SCADA Project Manager
  • Develop and manage the end‑to‑end project plan for SCADA system replacement, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality targets.
  • Lead project governance activities in alignment with PMO standards, including status reporting, risk and issue management, and stakeholder communication.
  • Coordinate requirements gathering and ensure both current‑state and future‑state operational needs are captured to enable successful migration and cutover.
  • Oversee all activities related to transitioning from the legacy SCADA system, including data migration, point‑to‑point verification, interface mapping, and operational continuity planning.
  • Develop and manage a detailed cutover strategy, including phased migration, fallback planning, parallel operations (as needed), and post cutover validation.
  • Manage vendor selection, contracting, and performance, ensuring alignment with cutover milestones, integration requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Partner with Engineering, IT, OT, cybersecurity, and field operations to guide system design, network architecture, and regulatory compliance.
  • Direct integration activities such as PLC/RTU upgrades, historian migration, alarm strategy rationalization, and system interoperability testing.
  • Lead system testing cycles including FAT, SAT, end‑to‑end testing, redundancy failover validation, and user acceptance testing.
  • Work with Operations and field teams to develop and execute commissioning plans, operational readiness activities, and training on the new SCADA environment.
  • Drive organizational change management and communication efforts to support a smooth transition from the legacy system.
  • Manage cutover execution, monitor stability during the transition period, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Oversee the handoff to steady‑state support, including documentation, warranty tracking, and transition to maintenance teams.
