Candidates should have a B.S (M.S. preferred) in Civil Engineering, with an emphasis in structures or equivalent mastery of structural engineering concepts.
Candidates must possess a valid PE license or be working toward licensure.
Grummel Engineering is seeking engineers with a strong foundation of engineering fundamentals looking to gain opportunities to develop their staff management and mentoring skills.
A thorough knowledge of current codes and the ability to work effectively with clients and staff on complex projects is desired.
We are seeking candidates who are fast learners, have strong technical expertise, excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Self-motivated engineers with an interest in mentoring and collaboration while participating in all steps of a project are encouraged to apply (client relations, site visits, fee estimating, schematic, construction and permit documentation, construction support and more).Our design focus covers a wide range of projects and materials including:seismic retrofits on historic structures, new and existing wineries, breweries, residences, retail spaces, and public art.
We work with a varied group of professionals including architects, artists, developers, contractors, and homeowners.
