Position SummaryAre you looking for an opportunity to start your career in project management? Southland Industries’ Project Engineer position offers you this chance! You will work on exciting, multi-million dollar commercial MEP projects, developing skills in estimating, scheduling, and design within the design-build construction process.
Job Responsibilities- Estimate the impact of project changes and communicate with management.
- Manage change orders, ensuring accuracy and proper tracking.
- Procure equipment, materials, and services; participate in subcontractor selection and hiring.
- Stay current on industry trends.
- Analyze and resolve basic questions and problems as needed.
- Basic ERP skills, including reviewing and printing job cost reports.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC or plumbing drawings.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills, including CADD and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Four-year degree in Engineering or applicable experience.

This position is full-time, entry-level, and based in Portland, OR, with salary ranges from $55,000 to $60,000. We are an equal opportunity employer and do not sponsor employment at this time.
