The Project Engineer will manage all phases of a medium to large size project through construction, with primary responsibility for budgeting, scheduling, planning, design, specification, and working drawings. They will resolve structural engineering problems, prepare design calculations and construction documents, and maintain authority to direct, control, and monitor all project activities while keeping clients informed.

• Engineering degree from an accredited university
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in production and coordination of documents throughout all phases of architectural practice and in management of small projects desired.
• P.E. License

• Prepare structural calculations.
• Support the design team and ensure that the design intent is followed through all phases.
• Integrate design principles with the project design team and maintain design integrity throughout all phases.
• Primary role in the development of project details consistent with the design intent.
• Promote design quality and design collaboration.
• Collaborate with the project design team for programming, planning, and feasibility analysis.
• Participate in developing working drawings and help fulfill requirements/deliverables of SD, DD, and CD phases.
• Understand technical terminology of the building and construction industry.
• Ensure that client standards and protocols are followed.

$110K-$130K depending on experience
