Associated Engineering is a proudly Canadian, employee‑owned company seeking an experienced, dedicated Senior Environmental Wastewater Engineer to lead big‑picture, front‑end planning work for wastewater management systems across our major Canadian offices. The role involves leading planning projects, supporting design and implementation projects, client liaison, business development, and mentoring young professionals.

• Lead planning projects and support design and implementation projects for wastewater management systems; develop master‑planning studies, regulatory assessments, and resource recovery opportunity analyses including solid waste and potable water elements.
• Provide client liaison and business development support, including proposal preparation and marketing activities such as conference presentations.
Qualifications- Undergraduate degree in civil, chemical, or environmental engineering from an accredited university.
- Graduate degree in environmental engineering or related thesis research (asset).
- Eligibility for professional licensing with applicable provincial association (e.g., PEO, APEGBC, APEGA).
- Minimum 10 years' experience in wastewater engineering/management.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in specific technical areas of wastewater engineering and management.
- Experience with Class EA process (Ontario) or Liquid Waste Management Plan / Municipal Wastewater Regulation processes (BC).
- Triple‑bottom‑line evaluation and risk assessment experience (asset).
- Experience in a consulting engineering environment.
- Effective project leadership, management, and organizational skills.
- Team player with experience working with diverse teams.
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
