* DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

***** Support the daily operations of the Inclusion & Multicultural Engagement (IME) Office.
* Assist in planning, coordinating, and facilitating signature community events, including First-Generation Celebration, MLK Week, LGBTQ+ programming, Student Athletes of Color Association initiatives, Cultural Heritage Months, the Annual Banquet, and other campus programs.
* Lead and strengthen on- and off-campus collaborations by partnering with departments such as Financial Aid, the Student Counseling Center, the Career Center, and additional campus offices.
* Provide leadership and supervision to office initiatives and student staff teams.
* Coordinate and facilitate programs, workshops, and events centered on identity, equity, and social justice.
* Support outreach and engagement efforts, including tabling, social media management, and website updates.
* Actively participate in IME staff meetings, professional development trainings, and one-on-one meetings with the supervisor.
* Serve as an ambassador for the College’s diversity and inclusion initiatives while upholding institutional policies and community standards.##

* Schedule:

*** Work shifts available between 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Mondays - Fridays
* Student must be able to work up to 13 hours per week, Mondays - Fridays
* On occasion, students may be asked to work evenings and/or weekends, depending on the College event schedule
* ** The position will begin sometime during the last two weeks of August and will conclude at the end of April.
** This position is not scheduled to work during reading days, winter, and spring break unless prearranged with the supervisor.
* Reappointment is not guaranteed and is dependent on performance evaluations and the needs of the department and the HESA Graduate Assistant program.
** REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
*** Bachelor’s degree required
* Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Proven experience in creative problem-solving and ongoing self-assessment.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Foundational understanding of diversity, equity, inclusion, social justice, anti-oppression work, and/or ethnic or cultural studies.
* Demonstrated commitment to supporting and celebrating individuals and communities from

** PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
*** Enrolled in the Higher Education and Student Affairs (HESA) Graduate degree program, or a comparable Graduate Program at the Lewis & Clark Graduate School of Education and Counseling.
* Ability to manage logistics and balance multiple projects simultaneously.
* A minimum of one year’s experience working within student affairs (either at Lewis & Clark or at another residential higher education institution) as a student leader or staff member.
* Experience and knowledge of supporting diverse student populations, specifically students of color.
* Demonstrated commitment to student and community development.
