PCC is accepting applications to be considered for Part-Time Faculty assignments in the Fire Protection Technology Department at the Cascade Campus. The Department will review applications in this pool as the need arises for new part-time faculty in this area. This is NOT an announcement of a specific open position, but a Part-time Faculty Interest Pool, from which the department will identify applicants based on course assignment needs during the Academic Year.

• Associate’s Degree in Fire Protection Technology or related field from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 2 years full-time or 4 years part-time recent teaching experience (teaching experience can include leading training and teaching skill-based techniques)
• Five (5) years recent experience as a career firefighter OR Ten (10) years recent experience as a volunteer firefighter OR an equivalent combination

Newly hired Part-time Faculty typically start at Step 1 of the current salary schedule. Hourly rates are determined based on the type of course taught (Lecture, Lab, or Lecture/Lab).
