Portland Community College is accepting applications to be considered for Part-Time Faculty assignments in the Microelectronic Technology Department at the Rock Creek Campus. The Department will review applications in this pool as needs arise for new part-time faculty. This is NOT an announcement of a specific open position, but a Part-time Faculty Interest Pool from which the department will identify applicants based on course assignment needs during the Academic Year.
Applications may be considered for substitute assignments as well as full-term class assignments.

Instructor QualificationsFor MT90, MT111, MT112, MT113, MT121, MT122 – Fundamentals in electronic and digital circuits:
Instructors need knowledge of material and the ability to teach concepts to students lacking relatable background.
- Master’s of Science in Physics or Engineering
- Demonstration of teaching competency in the subject
OR
- Bachelor’s of Science in Physics or Engineering
- Demonstration of teaching competency in the subject
- Two quarters of upper division coursework in the subject
OR
- Associate’s of Applied Science degree required for employment in the semiconductor industry as an equipment technician
- Demonstration of teaching competency in the subject
- Able to demonstrate teaching competence in all CCOG topics
- Teaching experience is preferred
