This opportunity is for Part-Time Faculty assignments in Bioscience Technology at the Rock Creek Campus. The Department will review applications in this pool as needs arise for new part-time faculty in this area. This is NOT an announcement of a specific open position, but a Part-time Faculty Interest Pool from which the department will identify applicants based on course assignment needs during the Academic Year.

Your application may be considered for substitute assignments as well as full-term class assignments.

Instructor Qualifications

General Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in the subject area (see below for subject area details) AND the equivalent of 3 years full-time, non-teaching experience in the field OR
  • Master’s degree in a related area plus 30 quarter hours of upper-division coursework in subject areas AND the equivalent of 3 years full-time, non-teaching experience in the field OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in the subject area AND the equivalent of 4 years full-time, non-teaching experience in the field OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related area plus 30 quarter hours of upper-division coursework in the subject area AND the equivalent of 4 years full-time, non-teaching experience in the field OR
  • AAS degree in the subject area or professional education AND the equivalent of 5 years full-time, non-teaching experience in the field
