Type: Part-Time/As Needed

Trinity Lutheran Christian School is a faith-based educational community dedicated to nurturing students academically, spiritually, and socially in accordance with Christian values. We seek dedicated individuals to support our mission by providing quality instruction in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.

The substitute teacher will be responsible for maintaining a positive, structured, and nurturing classroom environment. This role involves implementing lesson plans, managing student behavior, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students during their time in the classroom.

• Active Christian faith and commitment to Christian values.
• Prior teaching or childcare experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to follow lesson plans and adapt as needed.
• Flexibility and reliability in filling short-term and occasional assignments.
• Must comply with all school policies and procedures.

• Implement daily lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher.
• Maintain an orderly, respectful classroom environment.
• Engage students in learning activities and support their academic progress.
• Address student behavior in accordance with school policies.
• Ensure safety and supervision of students at all times.
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and, when appropriate, parents.
• Complete any required documentation or reports.
