Assistant Football Coach is responsible for assisting in all aspects of developing and advancing a competitive football program in the Big Sky Conference. This includes, but is not limited to: coaching, recruiting, and counseling student‑athletes; managing daily administrative duties of the program; fundraising and public relations; adhering to all rules and regulations of the university, NCAA, and Big Sky Conference.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum three years collegiate coaching/collegiate competition.
- Excellent professional/interpersonal communication skills.
- Commitment to the total welfare of student‑athletes.
- Commitment to developing a successful Division I football program both academically and athletically.
- Experience creating an environment that acknowledges, encourages, and celebrates differences.

Total Compensation Range & Benefits StatementSalary is dependent on several factors and new employees will typically start around the Q1 level to allow for later growth within the salary band. The starting annual salary for this position will be between $65,100 and $73,000, but may be negotiated above this rate. An excellent benefits package includes 95% premium paid healthcare, a generous retirement and vacation package, and reduced tuition rates for employee, spouse or dependent at any of the Oregon University System schools.
