Accounting and Finance
Business courses are offered in multiple modes of instruction. Anticipated need is for faculty who are able to teach courses face‑to‑face on‑site at one or more main campuses:
Sylvania, Rock Creek, Southeast, and Cascade as well as online. This is NOT an announcement of a specific open position, but a part‑time faculty interest pool, from which the program will identify applicants based on course assignment needs during the Academic Year. New applications will be reviewed on a monthly basis.

Please review Business Administration Course Content and Outcome Guides. As part of the application, you will be asked to list the current PCC courses which you would be able to teach.
Instructor Qualifications- Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or other business‑related field; completed at least 30 quarter hours of accounting credits (undergraduate or graduate); three years of full‑time equivalent non‑teaching accounting work experience required; CPA or CMA licensing and prior teaching experience is preferred.
- Hold a post baccalaureate certificate in accounting or a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or other business‑related field; completed at least 30 quarter hours of accounting credits (undergraduate or graduate); and over three years of full‑time equivalent non‑teaching accounting work experience and CPA or CMA licensing. Teaching experience is preferred.
The PCC district encompasses a 1,500‑square‑mile area in northwest Oregon and offers two‑year degrees, one‑year certificate programs, short‑term training, alternative education, pre‑college courses and lifelong learning. As part of our College community, you’ll enjoy:

Instructors with credentials from other countries will have their transcripts evaluated by agencies that have good standing with the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services to establish fulfillment of this standard.
