The appointee shall provide services as assigned by the supervisor in furtherance of the university’s missions and goals of teaching, research, patient care, outreach and public service, and will be a member of the Adult Blood & Marrow Transplant & Cellular Therapy Programs
, Division of Hematology & Medical Oncology.
Duties include
:
Daily clinical management of inpatient bone marrow/hematologic malignancy patients with an emphasis clinical management of allogeneic & autologous transplant recipients as well as the patients receiving immune effector cell therapy including CAR T-cells, TILS and other immune populations; shared responsibility for on-call coverage; case conferencing with multi-disciplinary teams; coordination of teaching rounds with Fellows and House-staff assigned to the inpatient;
fostering collaborative relationships with referring physicians and organizations; cooperation with clinical trial and data management/ registry teams; development and participation in clinical trials; participation in the education of medical students and house staff in accordance with assignments to the department by the Curriculum Committee and Chair.
- MD or DO required
- U.S. Board Certified in Internal Medicine
- U.S. Board Certification or Eligibility in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology
- Eligibility for Oregon medical licensure
