Physician Associate – Surgical Urology (NE Portland & Happy Valley)

Overview

Join The Oregon Clinic as a full‑time Surgical Physician Associate in our thriving Urology Clinics. You will work collaboratively with physicians and patient‑focused colleagues to deliver high‑value, personalized care. Our mission is to provide world‑class service with kindness and empathy.

Responsibilities
  • Provide medical care under physician supervision.
  • Conduct physical assessments, health history, education, and counseling for new and follow‑up patients.
  • Identify patient care issues, recommend actions, and implement physician directives.
  • Perform preoperative and postoperative duties in inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Prepare OR and patient for surgery; verify preop studies; function as first or second associate on specialty‑specific procedures.
  • Update patient records as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Salary

Hiring range: $ – $ per year (based on experience and credentials).

Workdays

Typical Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am‑5:00 pm; schedules may vary for clinic needs, operating room cases, or other duties.

Qualifications
  • Completion of an accredited Physician Associate program and current Oregon license.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum 1 year of professional PA experience preferred; specialty Urology experience is a plus; new graduates welcome.
  • Current CPR/BLS within 60 days of hire; ACLS may be required by specialty.
  • Board eligibility; board certification preferred.
  • Preferred EMR experience, with Epic as a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, multitask, and communicate professionally.
  • Excellent attendance, positive attitude, team‑player mindset.
