Join Ferrellgas as a Customer Service Specialist – Part Time. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service through inbound and outbound communications for both Ferrellgas and Blue Rhino customers.

- Answer phones, chat, social media, or email in a polite, courteous, and professional manner.
- Maintain and improve daily customer relationships.
- Ask probing questions to identify customer issues or concerns.
- Ensure accurate account maintenance and update account information.
- Use next‑call avoidance techniques to reduce future inquiries.
- Schedule delivery orders and handle basic negotiation for new and returning customers.
- Process general service order input, execute emergency scripts, close uncontrollable loss accounts, provide general contract and pricing information.
- De‑escalate customer situations following the complaint‑resolution policy.
- Send statements and invoices to customers and perform soft collections for credit‑hold or past‑due accounts, including phone check collections.
- Support the set‑up of new customer accounts.
- Meet or exceed minimum performance standards outlined in company policy.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ year of customer service experience.
- Exceptional customer service and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational skills with typing and data‑entry experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on team building and positive rapport.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access).
- Must be a citizen or national of the United States, a lawful permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States.
- Applicants must not currently require or in the future require employment visa sponsorship.
