WCSH-TV, the TEGNA‑owned NBC affiliate in Portland, is looking for a full‑time Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate is proficient at creating captivating and shareable content for television, social media, and mobile platforms. You must be a self‑starter who is technologically savvy and can work under tight deadlines.

• Use editing tools to create content for Newscast and Digital platforms.
• Use creative production techniques such as graphics and new forms of media (viewer pictures, webcam interviews, etc.) to enhance stories.
• Work closely with news producers, reporters, photojournalists and the digital team.

• Knowledge of non‑linear editing systems using Edius, Premiere, and Photoshop.
• Interest in broadcast and digital news content.
• Organizational skills and the ability to work under deadline pressure.
• Must be deadline‑oriented, maintaining quality while staying on tight schedules.
• Must be able to work early mornings, nights and weekends.
