A well-established heavy civil contractor in Portland, focused primarily on private site development, is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team. • Prepare detailed cost estimates for heavy civil construction projects, with a focus on private site development.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and bid documents to develop accurate and competitive bids.
• Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to gather input and refine estimates.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Assist in tracking project costs and support post-bid project analysis.

• Minimum of 5 years of estimating experience in heavy civil construction, preferably in private site development.
• Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and labor costs.
• Proficiency with estimating software such as HCSS and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
