Estimator, Construction, Building & Residential Construction

Our client, a leading provider of HVAC and Plumbing services, is seeking a skilled Estimator to join their team. They offer an attractive benefits package, which includes 401(k) and matching, health insurance, paid time off, vision insurance, dental insurance, and life insurance.

This role holds significant importance as it is responsible for overseeing the implementation of projects ranging from $5,000 to $2,000,000 and occasionally up to $7,000,000. The Estimator will be involved in all stages of a project, from budgeting to construction contract, ensuring the project remains within budget and achieves the company's business objectives.

Estimator Job Responsibilities

• Review of project specifications and drawings
• Work on multiple estimates and construction contracts simultaneously
• Prepare Proposals
• Solicit subcontractor/vendor quotes
• Ensure estimates are completed within time frame
• Maintain detailed estimate spreadsheets and proposals
• Assist with determining scope
• Analyze job estimates from data reports
• Use estimating software for take-offs

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience with Blue Beam software
