Construction Project Engineer

Actalent is seeking to hire a Construction Project Engineer, who will assist Superintendents and Project Managers in day-to-day site management to ensure schedule and quality goals are met.

• Assist in the management of construction sites to meet schedule and quality objectives.
• Oversee the RFI and submittal process from inception to close-out.
• Manage owner billings, job-cost codes, and resolve accounting issues related to the project.
• Maintain comprehensive records, including daily logs, progress photos, material procurement logs, change orders, and close-out documents.
• Contribute to the creation and updating of project schedules, preferably using MS Project.
• Coordinate and ensure compliance with subcontractor insurance, bonds, and paperwork.
• Enhance project safety by attending daily huddles and documenting safety inspections.

• 3+ years of experience in construction management with multiple projects completed.
• Experience in managing large multifamily projects valued at over $10 million.
• Proficient in using MS Project, Bluebeam, Procore, and estimation software.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Strong understanding of construction means and methods.

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Working knowledge of Procore, Prolog, and MS Project.

This is a Permanent position based out of Portland, OR.

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
