Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role for a Professional Land Surveyor, based in the Portland, Oregon Metropolitan Area. While some responsibilities will require on-site presence, there is also flexibility to perform certain tasks from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting land and topographic surveys, using modern surveying equipment such as total stations, and ensuring the accuracy of boundary measurements. The Professional Land Surveyor will also prepare detailed survey drawings and documentation while coordinating with residential and commercial clients to address their surveying needs.
Qualifications- Proficiency in Land Surveying and Topographic Surveys
- Experience with advanced surveying tools and methods, including Total Station and Surveying equipment
- Knowledge of Building Surveying techniques and practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret and resolve boundary disputes
- Ability to manage projects independently and collaborate effectively in a hybrid work environment
- Great attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work
- State licensure as a Professional Land Surveyor (required)
- Familiarity with local regulations and requirements related to land surveying in Oregon is a plus
