Construction Manager - Water – Jacobs, Portland, OR
Base pay range: $99,000.00/yr – $/yr

We are seeking a Construction Manager to lead the design, engineering, and construction of advanced water and wastewater facilities that impact our communities. The role focuses on providing project scope, budget, reporting, contracting, and day‑to‑day oversight for utility construction projects, including treatment facilities, pipelines, tanks, basins, and control systems.
Responsibilities• Work with clients and contractors to manage construction practices such as change management, safety, quality assurance, scheduling, estimating, price negotiations, and daily operations.
• Develop and deliver project scopes, budgets, reports, contracts, and schedules to achieve client objectives.
• Coordinate standard civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical tasks for water and wastewater projects, including concrete vaults, conveyances, pump stations, and control integrations.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field OR equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in construction and/or engineering projects.
- Proven experience with clean water/wastewater projects or related projects.
- Knowledge of construction materials, methods, plans, specifications, and safety requirements.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Experience leading full‑cycle projects from preconstruction and procurement through close‑out, managing budgets, schedules, and field teams.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, Procore, and other project management tools.
Intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, climbing, kneeling, twisting, and lifting. Lifting limited to 20 lbs. Requires hand manipulation, occasional travel, working near construction equipment and hazardous machinery, on uneven ground, and exposure to dust, gas, fumes, noise, and extreme temperatures or humidity.
