An active U.S. Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) is essential. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys being close to the work while still providing structure, guidance, and accountability across the team. The position works collaboratively with commercial and support functions, though prior freight forwarding experience is not a prerequisite.

• Oversee daily Customs Brokerage operations for the Portland branch
• Ensure full adherence to U.S. Customs regulations and all relevant PGAs
• Supervise classification accuracy, tariff interpretation, and entry filing activity
• Lead and support a small brokerage team, providing direction and mentorship
• Serve as the escalation point for complex customs, compliance, and client issues
• Advise clients on import requirements, tariffs, and regulatory obligations
• Partner with commercial teams to support retention and compliant account growth
• Manage post-entry activity including CF 28s, PSCs, protests, rulings, and drawbacks
• Maintain strong process discipline to ensure accuracy and audit readiness
• Promote a professional, ethical, and accountability-driven working culture

• Active U.S. Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) – mandatory
• Proven experience within Customs Brokerage operations
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience within a brokerage environment
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. import/export regulations and tariff schedules
• Detail-focused with sound judgment and strong problem-solving capability
