OverviewThe Sales Planner II is responsible for improving the consumer experience and driving sales and profitability by analyzing consumer trends for a specific sales channel. This role helps the team make decisions that support annual goals and assists leadership in generating insights for the U.S. market.
Description Essential Functions- Manage forecasts for regions and key accounts, evaluating current performance to plan and impact future forecasts.
- Provide insights into upside opportunities, potential risks, and solutions to mitigate them.
- Minimize lost sales due to inventory availability through accurate forecasting.
- Analyze strategic metrics such as dollar and unit sell‑through, weeks of supply, average unit retail, door‑count grading, and brick‑and‑mortar versus eCommerce sales.
- Optimize sell‑through dashboards to track performance, identify trends, and present opportunities for the sales force.
- Develop and communicate ongoing sales reporting—including sales results, promotional tracking, and marketing effectiveness—and present monthly executive summaries of sell‑through data and trends by top account and style.
- Evaluate emerging trends, rationale, and competitive landscape to drive enhancements to current business practices and develop strategies to grow market segment share.
- Develop forecasting models using historical data, current trends, market data, and partner input.
- Collaborate with sales teams for key accounts to develop strategic annual and seasonal plans, analyzing inventory flow and business health at various levels to minimize inventory risk and maximize customer performance.
- Partner with sales teams to create account‑facing sell‑in decks that focus on data visualization and KPI metrics to educate buying teams and influence buying behavior.
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in merchandise planning/buying, eCommerce vendor management, business analysis, engineering, or brand management. Experience in wholesale, retail, apparel, fashion, or footwear is preferred.
Any equivalent combination of experience and education that clearly indicates the ability to perform the essential functions may substitute on a year‑for‑year basis.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities- Ability to communicate at all organizational levels and in front of large audiences.
- Capacity to learn a varied set of tools and perform regression analysis.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel), Power BI or other business‑intelligence systems, and PowerPoint for creating storytelling visuals.

Salary Range: $92,000 - $98,000
