5450 Lewis & Clark Work Study, Alumni and Parent Engagement- Must be available to work in Spring semester (Feb.
-May) about 6 hrs per week and with up to 35hrs per week available (May-Sept.), work during Alumni Weekend June 11-14, is a requirement of the Job expectations. ##
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
**** Professional Communication****
* ** Frontline Engagement:
** Serve as a primary ambassador at the Alumni Gatehouse, providing a warm and professional welcome to alumni, parents, and students.
* ** Constituent Outreach:
** Conduct professional outreach calls and email communications to alumni and parents to encourage event participation and foster community connection.
* ** Inclusive Excellence & Belonging:
** Demonstrate a commitment to fostering a welcoming environment for all individuals; work effectively and respectfully across a diverse range of identities, perspectives, and life experiences within the Lewis & Clark community.
**** Technological Proficiency****
* ** Database Management:
** Utilize the Slate database to process event registrations and perform audits to ensure data accuracy.
* ** Digital Content Creation:
** Design engaging presentations for milestone reunions and assist in the development of marketing materials and web page updates.
* ** Data Organization:
** Develop and maintain organized spreadsheets to track logistics and project progress.
* ** Office Operations:
** Support the Alumni and Parent Engagement Team with clerical tasks, including email communications and maintaining a professional office environment.
* ** Project Support:
** Develop and maintain organized spreadsheets and execute specialized projects tailored to the applicant’s unique skills and talents.
**** Career & Self-Development****
* ** Event Logistics:
** Provide comprehensive support for event preparation and on-site execution, gaining "behind-the-scenes" insight into large-scale project management.
* ** Office Operations:
** Support the Alumni and Parent Engagement Team with clerical tasks, learning to maintain a professional office environment and manage competing priorities.
* ** Specialized Project Leadership:
** Execute independent projects tailored to your unique skills and talents, allowing for personalized professional growth and resume building.##
SCHEDULE:
* The position follows a tiered commitment schedule:
** Winter/Spring semester (Feb–May):
** Part-time training and support (6 hrs./week).
* Work shifts available between 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Mondays - Fridays.
* Student must be able to work 4 - 6 hours per week, Mondays - Fridays.
* On occasion student may be asked to work evenings and/or weekends depending on the College event schedule
** Summer (May–Sept):
** Increased capacity (up to 35 hrs./week).
* During
** Alumni Weekend (June 11–14)**, Full availability required.
* ** After Alumni Weekend there is flexibility to take time off to travel or continue working part or full time.**## RATE OF PAY:* $16.30 per hour## WORK STUDY REQUIREMENT:
* Federal or L&C Work Study required
