Position Overview
The Senior Executive Assistant is responsible for providing ongoing administrative, planning, and executive support of a highly complex and confidential nature to the Senior Executive team. This role assists in meeting specialized goals and contributes to the achievement of the organization's vision, mission, and strategic objectives by providing special project and executive support to a position of significant leadership within the Providence system.
The position requires excellent communication skills and a strong knowledge of organizational operations, interacting with external and internal customers.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage calendars, correspondence, and meeting agendas for the executive(s).
• Coordinate logistics for meetings and events.
• Support the executive team with special projects and confidential tasks.
• Network extensively with organizational leadership and health system stakeholders, representing the supervisor and the health system professionally.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in English, Liberal Arts, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent education/experience.
- Five (5) years of experience as an Administrative Assistant, Executive Assistant, or in healthcare customer service.
Benefits and Compensation
Pay Range: $33.63 - $52.22 per hour. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Work Schedule
Full-time, Day Shift, On-site at Providence Portland Medical Center – 4805 NE Glisan St, Portland, OR.
