Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5pm

New Avenues for Youth seeks a dedicated and compassionate Executive Administrator to Leadership & Development to join our team.

As an Executive Administrator to Leadership & Development, you’ll be supporting staff serving as a consistent and intentional guide for youth navigating difficult paths. Your skills and experience will provide the assistance needed for these direct service staff to maximize their time engaging with the young people that we serve.

What You’ll Do:
  • Provide Executive & Administrative Support:
    • Manage complex scheduling and calendars for the Executive Director and Director of Development & Communications.
    • Support daily administrative tasks including reception, phone and email management, clerical work, meeting coordination, supply ordering, and general office operations.
    • Assist with special projects and research as assigned.
    • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Support Board & Committee Operations:
    • Prepare for board and committee meetings, including scheduling, agenda development, material preparation, logistics, attendance tracking, and meal coordination.
    • Take and distribute accurate meeting minutes.
    • Support the flow of communication with board members and key volunteers.
  • Support Development & Communications

    Activities:
    • Assist with stewardship activities, donor communications, and data entry.
    • Greet visitors, donors, and volunteers in the Administrative Office and help connect them to appropriate staff or needs.
    • Provide support during special events, volunteer activities, and in‑kind donation coordination.
