About the Company

We are looking for a reliable and personable receptionist for our client, a locally owned tax service company that prides itself on providing reliable, professional, and personable service to our clients. The office can be fast‑paced during tax season, and we’re looking for a receptionist who stays organized, calm, and customer‑focused even when things get busy.

Position Overview

The Receptionist is the first point of contact for clients and plays a key role in keeping daily office operations running smoothly. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a welcoming and professional presence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet clients in person and over the phone in a professional, friendly manner
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage client appointments
  • Collect and process client payments accurately
  • Maintain client records and basic administrative documentation
  • Communicate effectively with tax preparers and office staff
  • Manage incoming calls, messages, and general inquiries
  • Keep the front office organized and running efficiently
What We’re Looking For
  • Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
  • Experience handling payments and basic financial transactions
  • Experience with scheduling, calendars, and appointment coordination
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Reliable, detail‑oriented, and punctual
Preferred (Not Required)
  • Previous experience working with CPAs, tax services, or financial offices
  • Familiarity with tax season workflows and deadlines
