Position Overview
The Part-Time Bookkeeper will manage day-to-day financial transactions and maintain accurate records to support the organization's operations. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about supporting nonprofit work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Record and reconcile daily financial transactions in Quick Books (or similar accounting software).
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor payments and donor contributions.
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and assist with financial reporting for leadership and board meetings.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for audits and compliance requirements.
  • Support payroll processing and ensure timely tax filings in coordination with external providers.
  • Assist with budget tracking and grant reporting as needed.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (nonprofit experience preferred).
  • Proficiency with Quick Books or similar accounting software.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
  • Familiarity with nonprofit financial practices and compliance is a plus.
