Title:

Accounting Manager

Compensation: $110-130K + bonus

• Multiple MDV plans

Work Location:

Portland, OR - Hybrid (1-2 days/week in office)

Leadership & Team Management

• Supervise a team of 2 accountants overseeing daily general ledger accounting, month‑end close activities, reconciliations and journal entries
• Lead end‑to‑end Accounts Payable, including a team of 3‑4 clerks
• Support development, coaching, and growth of accounting staff

Core Accounting & Reporting

• Manage month‑end close, including checklists, calendars and cross‑functional communications
• Prepare and deliver periodic financial reporting package with insights
• Drive preparation of annual financial statements
• Maintain strong internal controls & promote continuous improvement in accounting processes

Other Projects

• Partner with FP&A and other business partners on key financial activities
• Support technical accounting matters
• Contribute to system enhancements and scalable process improvements as the business evolves

• 5+ years progressive accounting experience, leadership experience preferred
• Bachelor's in accounting, finance or related field
• Public accounting background strongly valued
• CPA is a plus
• Experience with large ERP systems
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Curious, collaborative personality with desire to mentor others and contribute to positive teaming environment
• Ability to communicate clearly, manage competing priorities, and drive results in a dynamic environment
