$55.00/hr - $74.00/hr

Type: Contract – 2-month Duration

Pay Range: $55.00 – 74.00, DOE

• Perform ASC 606 revenue recognition analyses and draft supporting memos across multiple subsidiaries.
• Conduct goodwill impairment assessments and prepare related documentation.
• Prepare and update purchase price accounting (PPA) workbooks and document measurement-period adjustments.
• Review business contracts for accounting implications and identify necessary journal entries or disclosures.
• Research and document complex technical accounting issues, providing recommendations to leadership.
• Partner with Financial Reporting Analysts to ensure external disclosures comply with U.S. GAAP.
• Monitor emerging FASB and SEC guidance and support the annual external audit as a technical resource.
• Contribute to SOX-related internal control procedures, fostering a culture of integrity and accountability.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and an active CPA license.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience (public accounting preferred).
• Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP, consolidation principles, and ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Experience with business combinations, purchase accounting, and measurement-period adjustments.
• Proven ability to conduct technical research, draft clear memos, and communicate complex concepts effectively.
• Exceptional analytical, written, and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail and strategic thinking.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams while maintaining the highest ethical standards.
• Familiarity with utility accounting, SEC reporting requirements, and ERP systems (SAP or similar) preferred.
