- Perform vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness of bus interiors, fuel buses, log trip counts and assist disabled passengers.
- Be at work every scheduled day, on time, and in uniform.
- Possess and carry a valid state‑issued driver’s license at all times while on duty.
- Maintain an acceptable DMV record.
- Courteously assist customers by answering any questions and, if necessary, direct them to the Facility Manager for further assistance.
- Report any known accidents, violations of company policy, safety hazards or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
- Communicate debris, water, oil spills, etc. to the garage office.
- Substitute for cashiers or valets when authorized.
- Have thorough knowledge of all areas of the garage and the major streets, landmarks and freeways surrounding the location.
- Assist customers with luggage and other traveling items when operating shuttle buses at an airport location.
- Assist the Facility Manager with other duties as needed.
Qualification Requirements: Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The listed requirements represent the knowledge, skill and/or ability needed.
Education/
Experience:
Less than high school education or one month related experience, training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
License Requirement: Valid state driver’s license with current address and acceptable driving record.
DOT Medical Card: A Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card) is required.
Availability to Work: Special shift requirements may vary. Availability to work 3rd shift and/or weekends may be required.

Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; present information one‑on‑one to customers and colleagues.
Mathematical
Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide two‑digit numbers and perform arithmetic with American currency.
Appearance: Maintain a neat and clean appearance and be in complete uniform at all times.
Physical Demands: Stand, walk, use hands to handle cash and equipment; occasionally sit, climb or balance; lift or move up to 75 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made for disabilities.
Salary Range: $22.00 per hour.
