Overview
A fast-growing craft brewery based in the Carolinas seeks a Senior Sales Manager to lead statewide wholesale sales performance and team development. The role is ideal for an experienced beverage alcohol sales leader who is comfortable in the field, experienced with distributor management, and capable of building disciplined sales systems that scale. The position is designed to grow into a Director-level role as the business expands.
This is an in-market leadership role with frequent travel; a company vehicle is provided.

- Lead, coach, and develop an internal wholesale sales team
- Set clear individual and team sales targets aligned with company goals
- Establish regular accountability rhythms and performance expectations
- Own performance improvement plans and make personnel decisions as needed
- Drive distributor execution across all assigned markets
- Conduct ride-alongs, market audits, and priority resets
- Hold distributor partners accountable to agreed-upon goals and standards
- Address distributor underperformance directly and professionally
- Own statewide wholesale sales planning and pacing
- Contribute forecasting inputs by market and channel
- Partner with operations and finance to align demand with production capacity
- Build and maintain sales scorecards, reporting, and execution standards
- Represent sales priorities in cross-functional planning conversations
- Align field execution with marketing, operations, and finance
- 6–10 years of experience in beverage alcohol sales or wholesale leadership
- Proven experience leading and developing sales teams
- Strong distributor management background
- Demonstrated ability to set targets and hold teams accountable
- Craft beer or regional beverage experience
- Multi-market sales exposure
- Experience helping scale a sales organization
