Job DescriptionThe Dealer Account Manager will educate and train current dealer partners, acquire new contacts, and manage all sales activities and account development within the assigned area.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing presentations and proposals to communicate Westlake products to dealership management.
- Identifying sales prospects and contacting assigned accounts.
- Following up on leads and referrals from field activity.
- Developing, maintaining, and growing dealer relationships in the independent and franchise communities.
- Providing phone and in‑person training on current programs and fast‑funding requirements.
- Assisting with loan restructure solutions to ensure profitable approval for both Westlake and dealers.
- Preparing sales contracts and ensuring proper verification.
- Keeping sales materials up‑to‑date with product knowledge.
- Participating in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events.
- Demonstrated experience in automotive finance and sales (required).
- 1–2 years of prior sales experience with a proven track record.
- College degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Strong presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
- Proficient computer skills and adaptability to new technology.
- Goal‑oriented, eager for improvement and advancement.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Experience with Dealer Track, Route One, or CUDL beneficial.
- Significant local travel required; valid state driver’s license mandatory.
