Veterinary Receptionist - Portland, ME

Brackett Street Veterinary Clinic is looking to add a friendly and dedicated veterinary receptionist to our welcoming hospital team. A desire for exemplary customer service is a must .

We are a small three-doctor veterinary clinic n estled in the West End of Portland. We are immersed in an inclusive and friendly neighborhood environment and have an active, energetic staff.

This is a full-time position. We are able to accommodate a 4 or 5-day work week. Currently no weekends! A love of animals and a customer service background is a great fit for this position . Previous veterinary experience (especially with Avimark ) is a huge plus!

The position plays an integral role in providing excellent care to our patients as well as providing outstanding customer service to our clients.

We are looking for someone that:

• Thrives in a fast-paced environment where the ability to multitask is a must
• Enjoys connecting with clients and helping people and pets
• Comfortable with email, texting, phones, and computer systems
• Doesn't mind jumping in to help with general clinic cleaning tasks as needed
• Has familiarity with medical terminology and pet care

Responsibilities include:

• Client communications
• Booking appointments,
• Greeting clients
• Processing payments
• Cleaning reception areas.
