Emergency Veterinarian - Overnight at Portland Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Care (PVESC) in Portland, Maine. PVESC has been delivering veterinary care for more than 30 years and is the only independently owned and operated specialty and emergency hospital in the state.

As an Overnight Emergency Veterinarian at PVESC, you’ll manage complex and critical cases, collaborate with a team of specialists, and provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients during overnight hours. This role is vital to ensuring continuity of care and supporting the pets and families who rely on us during emergencies.

Schedule:

7 overnights, 5pm – 8am every 3 weeks.

• State-of-the-art facility with access to advanced diagnostic and treatment technologies
• Color-flow ultrasound, endoscopy, and digital radiography
• Full in-house laboratory and critical care monitoring
• CT scanner and MRI
• High flow oxygen and telemetry
• Cold laser, Pulse Vet shockwave, PRP & stem cell therapy
