Travel Nurse - Operating Room (Gynecology & Genitourinary)

Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 12-hour shifts, 1:4 weekends, with an overnight call requirement of 11 PM - 7 AM for Trauma call.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Travel Nurse with a minimum of 3 years of level 1 trauma trained experience to join our team specializing in Gynecology and Genitourinary procedures. The ideal candidate will excel in surgical nursing, demonstrate exceptional patient care skills, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment. The nurse will work with a diverse patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert nursing care in the operating room, specializing in various surgical procedures.
- Utilize Robotics (Da Vinci Xi), PCNL, nephrectomy, ureteral reimplants, hysterectomy, cystectomy, colpocleisis, hysteroscopy, and ureteroscopy techniques.
- Coordinate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain a safe and efficient operating room environment.
- Monitor patients throughout their surgical experience and provide pre/post-operative care.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Travel Nurse in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
- Competency in Robotics and a variety of surgical procedures.
- CNOR certification preferred.
