This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Flexible schedule offered with options for either three 12-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts. Call requirements include 5 weekday night shifts and 2 weekend shifts within a 6-week period, averaging 1:6 weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Nurse with vascular experience in a level 1 trauma center. Open case experience is mandatory and endovascular experience is preferred. The successful candidate will join a team dedicated to providing excellent patient care in a fast-paced operating room environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and monitoring of patients undergoing vascular surgical procedures.
• Participate in surgical interventions and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals in a trauma setting.
• Manage post-operative care and facilitate recovery processes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• At least 2 years of experience in an operating room setting, specifically in vascular surgery.
• Current RN license to practice in the state of Maine.
• CNOR certification is preferred.
