Location

Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
7:00 PM - 7:30 AM / Every other weekend required.
Job Description
This position is within a fast-paced, high-acuity nursing unit focusing on Surgical Med Surg and Post Operative care. The ideal candidate will thrive in a team environment and possess a proactive approach to providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to high-acuity patients in a 44-bed unit, ensuring adherence to established protocols and best practices.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, managing complex patient needs.
- Utilize advanced medical equipment and technology in patient care.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience.
- Current BLS certification is required.
- Experience with high-acuity and cardio patients is a must.
