RN Circulator - ENT/Pedi/Plastics

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

4x10 hour day shifts with occasional day shift and call. Guaranteed hours available: 40 or 48.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced RN Circulator for a busy ENT/Pediatrics/Plastics surgical team in an Academic Level 1 Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in the Operating Room (OR) setting and should be comfortable with precepting. Previous experience scrubbing is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Assist with various surgical cases including neck dissections, free flap repair, DIEP flaps, pediatric general and thoracic surgery, airway management, oral and maxillofacial surgery, and dental procedures.
• Contribute effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment while maintaining high standards of patient care.
• Precept and mentor new staff or nursing students as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the OR setting.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required. PALS preferred but not necessary.
• AORN certification is a plus.
