We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to join our team as the Director of Nursing (DON). The Director of Nursing is crucial to our mission of providing top-tier care and fostering a supportive and therapeutic environment for residents.

As the DON, you will lead our nursing team in delivering exceptional care and ensuring the highest standards of clinical excellence. Your strategic vision and leadership will directly impact the well-being of our residents, contributing to the overall success of our facility. Director of Nursing Requirements
  • Valid RN license in the state of Maine
  • Proven experience as a Director of Nursing or in a similar leadership role
  • Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN or equivalent)
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • In-depth knowledge of SUD/MH nursing practices
  • Current CPR certification
  • Familiarity with regulatory and accreditation requirements
Director of Nursing Responsibilities
  • Providing leadership to the nursing team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Overseeing and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care
  • Developing and implementing nursing policies and procedures
  • Collaborating with other departments to achieve organizational goals
  • Conducting regular assessments of nursing staff performance
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives
  • Participating in the recruitment and onboarding of nursing staff
  • Serving as a liaison between nursing staff and executive leadership
