New York or Maine: $116,000 to $145,000 plus bonus
CT: $128,000 to $160,000 plus bonus

The Emergency Preparedness Program Manager – Compliance, Documentation, and After‑Action Reporting works collaboratively to create, develop, and implement Avangrid’s emergency management preparedness functions across multiple utilities and regions.

• Lead the Compliance, Documentation, and After‑Action Reporting program.
• Analyze new legislative or regulatory requirements and develop project plans to demonstrate compliance.
• Work with key leaders and stakeholders on documentation and reporting needs.
• Develop programmatic and in‑event compliance checklists, monitoring, and reporting requirements.
• Manage after‑action reporting and coordinate with the Corrective Action Tracking Program Manager to ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Lead emergency planning projects, creating plans, procedures, SOPs, and checklists for storms, emergencies, and other hazards.
• Prepare reports on event causes, damages, customer impacts, restoration times, recovery plans, and costs.
• Support department documentation and record‑keeping systems.
• Support Rate Cases as needed.
• Ensure appropriate training, drills, and exercises.
• Respond to emergencies as part of the operating company Area and Incident Command System.

Lead the creation, development, and implementation of Avangrid’s emergency management preparedness program, driving strategy, continuous improvement, and execution of emergency preparedness and operations activities.

• Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in a regulatory environment, tracking compliance and producing reporting.
• Advanced organizational, writing, and project management skills.
• Utility and/or emergency management experience preferred.

• Strong collaborative skills and ability to work as a team member.
• Highly organized, self‑directed, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities.
