Associate Attorney to join its Foreclosure Practice Group in the Portland, Maine office. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical ability, exceptional communication skills, and the capacity to manage a substantial caseload in a high‑paced legal environment. • Prepare, draft, review, and approve foreclosure‑related pleadings and legal filings.
• Manage foreclosure proceedings through all stages, including contested and litigated matters.
• Represent clients in mediations, depositions, and hearings (both telephonic and in-person).
• Conduct detailed reviews of chains of title, mortgages, promissory notes, and supporting documentation.
• Maintain consistent, professional communication with clients, including timely case updates and guidance.
• Collaborate closely with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff for efficient case management.
• Ensure full compliance with firm procedures, state requirements, and industry standards.
• Participate in special projects or additional duties as assigned.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Membership in good standing with the Maine Bar Association (must‑have).
• Ability to manage and prioritize a substantial caseload in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and problem‑solving abilities.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and proactive.
• Reliable, conscientious, and committed to meeting deadlines and maintaining firm expectations.

• Experience in foreclosure law or a related legal default services field.
• Prior experience with contested foreclosure matters, title analysis, or real estate litigation.
